I found my brother -- I DON'T EITHER!!(Background: This is a painting on the wall outside of a Diner in my area that has been around since at least 1931... Stools only! They also sell T-shirts and caps with the caption. When I inquired this is what I was told: "It came about because people used to always yell out their orders to the cooks and most of them don't speak English so they would always just turn around and say "I don't speak English" and eventually someone made a cap for the owner with the slogan, and it stuck!")
